When will the app launch?
We're targeting end of April 2026. Sign up for the waitlist and we'll email you the moment it's available on the App Store.
Is it free?
Yes! Actual Budget Mobile is free and open source. You can self-host your own Actual Budget server or use the app in fully offline, local-only mode — no server needed.
Does it work with my existing Actual Budget data?
Absolutely. The app connects directly to any Actual Budget server and syncs your existing accounts, categories, budgets, and transactions.
What about Android?
iOS first. Android is on the roadmap — we want to nail the iOS experience first, then bring it to Android.
Is my financial data safe?
Your data never leaves your device unless you choose to sync. When syncing, data is protected with AES-256-GCM end-to-end encryption. No third parties can access your information.
Do I need a server?
No. The app works fully offline in local-only mode. A server is only needed if you want to sync data across multiple devices.
